About the Role:

 

Join Knauf’s National Account Sales team for Summer 2026 and help drive customer engagement, data accuracy, and campaign execution across key accounts and channels. You’ll lead high-volume customer outreach, support targeted sales and marketing initiatives, cleanse and maintain CRM data, and manage elements of a summer engagement campaign. This role offers hands-on experience with national accounts, CRM best practices, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and the Inclusion Strategy Committee.

Responsibilities

Home Depot Pro Sales Outreach
  • 100% customer contact campaign to confirm account rep, promote the Knauf Pro+ app, and build awareness of Knauf Academy.
  • Log all touchpoints and outcomes in Salesforce; escalate qualified leads to the appropriate rep.
Project Smart – Data Gathering
  • Collect and organize data from internal/external sources, validate accuracy, and prepare weekly summaries for leadership.
  • Support basic analysis and visualization to inform account decisions.
L&W Supply Call Campaign
  • Outbound calling to non‑Knauf locations to communicate Knauf’s value proposition.
  • Capture interest, objections, and next steps; schedule follow-ups for territory managers.
Marketing Support
  • Provide support to Linda/Lisa on list building, campaign briefs, collateral coordination, and performance tracking as needed.
Inclusion Strategy Committee – Summer Engagement (FIFA) Campaign
  • Help manage timelines, content routing, and engagement tracking for a summer campaign.
  • Coordinate messaging calendars and recap results.
CSAT Survey Enablement
  • Proactively contact customers to explain the purpose of the CSAT survey and encourage participation.
  • Track response rates and feedback themes; share weekly progress.

NPS Data Cleanse (Salesforce)

  • Review, update, and de-duplicate Salesforce contacts; ensure account/rep mappings are accurate.
  • Maintain data hygiene standards and document changes.
Sales Campaigns/Customer Awareness
  • Execute targeted pushes for specific product/app initiatives (e.g., Caulk line, Knauf Pro+ App).
  • Build outreach lists, draft call/email scripts, and report on reach and conversions.
Reporting and KPIs
  • Maintain weekly dashboards on call volume, connects, meeting sets, survey completions, app sign-ups, and data quality metrics.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Data/Analytics, or a related field
  • Completion of at least the first full year of college/university by Summer 2026
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and email follow-up
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry and organization skills; commitment to data accuracy
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; Excel/Sheets skills a plus (sorting, filtering, pivot tables)
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Customer-first mindset with problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Interest in building materials or B2B sales a plus
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in customer service, inside sales, or call campaigns
  • Basic analytics/reporting experience
  • Script writing and A/B testing for outreach messages
Success Metrics by End of Internship
  • Targeted outreach completed with documented outcomes for Home Depot Pro and L&W Supply campaigns
  • Verified/updated Salesforce contact records with improved data completeness and accuracy
  • Increased CSAT participation and clear reporting on response rates
  • Execution support for the Summer Engagement (FIFA) campaign with documented engagement results
  • Measurable awareness lift for focus campaigns (e.g., Caulk, Knauf Pro+ App)
