Summary of Position: 

 

In this dynamic role, you will be at the heart of our operations, driving accuracy and consistency in SAP Material, Customer, and Vendor Master data across KINA plants and warehouses. Your work will be essential in ensuring seamless business operations, reliable reporting, and a solid foundation for our success. Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains material master data in the SAP P19 system and Salesforce for Finished Goods and Raw Materials, adhering to guidelines and procedures such as naming conventions, field definitions, and data requirements.
  • Enters and maintains Bills of Material (BOM) and Production Routings for Finished Goods.
  • Processes and manages requests for new or modified Customer accounts, including Sold-To Customers in Salesforce, and executes corresponding setups in SAP.
  • Trains Sales personnel and others as needed in Salesforce software concerning requests for new sold-to customers and materials.
  • Manages requests for new or updated Corporate Vendor information and performs corresponding setups in SAP.
  • Collaborates with the European MDM team to processes requests and maintains SAP data integrity.
  • Adapts and implements SAP data or processes changes required due to Knauf Global initiatives or changes in MDM procedures.
  • Regularly reviews material master data to identify and correct inaccuracies.
  • Participates in project teams to support the startup of new plants, production lines, or processes.
  • Communicates effectively with various departments, including Finance, Production, and Customer Service, to resolve data integrity issues.
  • Extracts data from SAP to support Management inquiries and project requirements.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation related to master data creation and maintenance.
  • Provides support and troubleshooting for users with data-related issues, utilizing knowledge of Knauf processes in SAP.
  • Drives the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.
  • Fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.
  • Instills an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • At least one (1) year of experience in a data management environment or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience in data management is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, is preferred.
  • Experience in the building and construction industry is a plus.
  • Background in the insulation industry is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for material master processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions regarding Master Data, with a strong understanding of business impacts.
