Pay Rate: $23.10/hour 

 

Perfect Attendance Bonus: Additional $0.75/hour

 

Schedule: M - F, 7:00am - 3:30pm

 

Up to a 5% quarterly bonus!

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments from vendors, carriers, or inter-company transfers. Inspect and verify the received items against purchase orders or delivery notes, ensuring their quality and quantity align with the provided documentation.
  • SAP Data Entry: Utilize the SAP system to record and update receiving information, including quantities, lot numbers, and any discrepancies found during inspection. Accurate data entry is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our inventory records.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve any discrepancies, shortages, or damages found during the receiving process. Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed promptly to take appropriate actions.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system, both physically and digitally within SAP. This includes properly labeling, tagging, and storing incoming items in designated areas.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues related to deliveries promptly.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to the receiving process.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on receiving activities, inventory levels, and discrepancies to assist management in decision-making and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in the receiving and inventory management workflows, striving for increased efficiency and reduced errors.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in supply chain management, logistics, inventory control, or a related field is highly desirable.

 

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar role involving inventory control, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations required.
  • Experience working in a SAP-based environment or with similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics industries is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable, including modules related to inventory management, order processing, or goods receipt.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required, with demonstrated ability to generate and interpret reports.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and inventory management tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team while also being self-sufficient and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies related to shipments, purchase orders, and inventory.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift or move objects as required by the role (e.g., handling packages or inventory).
