Summary of Position:

As a Product Management Intern, you will help keep the pulse on the competitive landscape and market to aid in strategy proposals supporting the Company’s goals and objectives.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders within the organization on sku management efforts, commercialization efforts and customer support.

• Competitive landscape analysis in the insulation industry, including company investigation, product analysis, specification comparison, comparative advantage / disadvantage study, etc.
• Assist with continual product line SKU optimization evaluations and communications.
• Contribute to creativity of product packaging, presentations, promotional activities through collaboration with the Marketing Communications and Knauf Academy teams.
• Support sales teams with product information and feedback, as needed.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• We’re looking for candidates actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in any of the following fields: Business Administration | Marketing | Product Innovation | Project Management | Business Development.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and great attention to detail with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for development.
• Ability to research market information, document a planned approach for solving it, and support the project throughout.
• Initiative to dig into the details of a problem, but also have an understanding of how your work fits into the larger picture.
• Experience working in retail and/or construction is a plus.
• Opportunity to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment that values ideas, learning, problem solving, and teamwork to achieve process excellence.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of project management with basic experience with Project Management applications. (such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheet)
• Ability to learn new software with ease.
