Summary of Position:

 

As a Corporate HRBP, you will partner with assigned business leaders to develop and execute strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, and people analytics. Understand business priorities and create talent strategies to achieve goals. Work with business leaders to develop mid- and long-term plans with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.  Ensure consistency as it relates to HR programs, processes, and policies.  In addition to the HR Business Partner role, you will serve as the Human Resources department lead on people systems and analytics.

Responsibilities

Employee Relations

 

  • Manage and facilitate employee relations, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain current objectives, policies, and procedures, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Identify training programs needed to support employee development.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and resolve workplace conflicts; includes overseeing and managing all workplace investigations.
  • Partner with appropriate internal and external parties to resolve employee relations issues and/or drive employee relations initiatives within departments.
  • Maintain discretion, confidentiality and security of all employee and proprietary company information, while always operating in an unbiased, high integrity, respectful manner that builds trust at all levels and demonstrates a sensitivity for cultural differences.

Workforce Planning

  • Conducts strategic workforce planning for areas of responsibility.
  • Develop a three-to-five-year plan that aligns with KINA’s strategy.
  • Consult internal customers on best practices and processes for making organizational changes and lead the execution of changes once approved.
  • Assess exit interview data on an ongoing basis and provide results, recommendations, and key takeaways.
  • Assess turnover data on an ongoing basis and provide results, recommendations, and key takeaways.
  • Consult regularly with management and provide guidance when appropriate.

Succession Planning

  • Identify key roles for succession or replacement planning.
  • Identify succession planning and pipeline targets.
  • Define the competencies and profiles needed for successors.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management for facilitation of the Talent Review (9 Box).
  • Lead collaborative meetings with department heads for succession planning.

Employee Development and Engagement

  • Working with Talent Management, conduct needs analysis, identify programs for gaps, and help facilitate development programs.
  • Support performance appraisal process for assigned areas.
  • Manage new and existing programs related to employee development.

Communication

  • Manage communications regarding HR policies to assigned teams. 

Reporting/Systems

  • Deliver accurate and timely reports for headcount requirements.
  • Serve as the department’s point of contact for HR reporting (ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.)
  • Using the principles of continuous improvement, constantly advance efficiency and accuracy of HR systems and data.
  • Using analytical skills, review data, identify trends, and develop recommendations for action.
  • Develop strong working relationship with all HRIS vendors. Directly partner with third parties to problem solve any system issues, recommended solutions, and testing.  

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • HR Certification Preferred

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years Human Resource experience
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors and ADP preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of all laws and regulations related to employees
  • Computer skills in Microsoft environment; proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
