Summary of Position:

 

As an Alloy Coordinator, you will support the spinner drilling and distribution operation. Perform alloy, casting and finished goods inventory control, alloy procurement, logistics and valuation for the world-wide spinner alloy pool. Interface with casting, cleaning and refining vendors and Knauf production facilities. Coordinate with and reports information to/from a sister facility in Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Track the quantity, flow and value of the world-wide alloy pool
  • Execute alloy, casting and finished good exports to world-wide vendors and plants.
  • Maintain customs compliance documentation.
  • Consolidate monthly reports of inventories at all vendors, plants and in transport.
  • Plan, coordinate, order and process casting requirements for the US to include US and EU vendors.
  • Provide support to EU in coordinating casting and alloy supply from vendors.
  • Coordinate with US plants for production requirements of spinners; track inventory, usage and projections.
  • Manage monthly US and EU reconciliation of alloy, castings, and spinners.
  • Coordinate with US KIT Shop for monthly and expedited plant shipments.
  • Coordinate with KIT Shop for any needed export of spinners to KIT EU.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s Degree in Logistics, Materials Management, Accounting, Finance or Engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum two (2) of experience in accounting, logistics or materials management
  • Experience with metals or other recyclable asset preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of alloy development and casting
  • Knowledge of order processing
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system (preferably SAP)
  • Computer skills in MS Windows environment; proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
