Summary of Position:

As a Senior Manager, Strategic Communications, you will champion the Knauf brand, drive a culture of highly engaged employees, and demonstrate Knauf purpose, mission and vision. 

• Develop and deliver communications strategies to strengthen and protect the brand promise, develop culture and support growth
• Create and execute executive communication strategy and plan for both internal comms, external thought leadership and local PR
• Drive consistent and transparent communications across organization
• Create crisis management strategies and develop playbooks, Q&A, internal and external messaging and management of all press inquiries.
• Manage corporate PR and overall brand messaging
• Work with EC and business leaders to incorporate values, mission, vision, purpose into programs that becomes ingrained in our culture
• Identify trends and build strategies and programs that ensure adoption of our culture, values, mission, vision and purpose across the org
• Design key performance indicators to measure and track results and ensure accountability; communicate progress
• Drive and evolve the strategy on engagement practices and tools in connection with the company’s culture and business strategies
• Collaborate with HR teams and other internal partners to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion are embedded throughout our culture from the hiring process thru employee life cycle
• Assist HR leadership in defining how DE&I strategy connects directly to business goals and which drivers influence business decisions
• Drive management and governance of Knauf Cares and participate in Family Social Responsibility program globally
• Manages planning and execution of communication projects
• Develop a community relations strategy to build and expand programs that will have a positive impact in our communities and are aligned with our strategic priorities.
• Build and expand partnerships with both internal key leaders and external community organizations.
• Partner with HR team to develop and enhance the company’s relationship and brand in local communities where we have manufacturing presence

Education: 

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
