Pay Rate:

$42.00 - $45.00/hr

 

Perfect Attendance Bonus: $.75/hour

 

Retention Bonus: $1,750

        $750 after six months

        $1,000 after one year

 

Schedule: 

Monday - Friday with weekend on call rotation

 

Up to a 5% quarterly bonus!

Responsibilities

  • Develop graphics for the HMI screens on the factory floor
  • Set up computer systems for supervisory software for plant process controls
  • Manage factory process control network
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, variable speed drives, and instrumentation
  • Substitutes setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing factory instrumentation and environmental control systems
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Venders on new equipment installation, new HMI and process systems, process improvements, and service routines
  • Act as a liaison between corporate engineering and plant process controls
  • Work with factory management team to identify and correct equipment-related issues, improve efficiencies, product quality, and safety

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s Degree in related field preferred
  • Factory automation equipment and PLC programming and troubleshooting training required

Experience:

  • Minimum eight (8) years’ of Industrial or Electrical Controls experience
  • Minimum two (2) years’ of experience with Rockwell Automation Software and Hardware (Allen Bradley)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of and ability to program PLCs, VSD, motor controls
  • Knowledge of plant processes in a similar environment
  • Ability to develop and read instrumentation diagrams and ladder/relay logic
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to motivate, lead and coach others
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, industrial manufacturing environment
  • Ability to take work-related calls after hours when necessary
  • Ability to work additional hours at the plant if/when emergencies occur
  • Project management skills
