Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:
Work Quality: Adheres to all Knauf policies, procedures, and practices. Ensures good housekeeping practices are performed within your department and on your job in your work area.
Other Duties as Assigned: Ability to accept and perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License.
Working Environment: There is occasional exposure to dust and odors. Physical conditions include but are not limited to proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, working on scaffolding in high places, exposure to high heat, chemicals, and wet floors.
Essential Physical Activities: Continuous and/or frequent standing, walking, reaching, twisting, pushing pulling, stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, smelling, hearing, seeing and use of fingers and hands. Occasional sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, carrying up to 50 lbs., pulling or pushing up to 50 lbs., crawling, climbing, and balancing.
Risk/Safety Conditions: Follows Knauf safety procedures and precautions. Follows Knauf ergonomics procedures governing lifting techniques, repetitive tasks, and the use of safety equipment and supplies to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses. Participates in appropriate safety training programs prior to performing tasks that involve potential exposure to hazards related to the workplace. Follows established procedures governing the use/disposal of personal protective equipment and supplies. Reports all accidents/incidents to supervisor no matter how minor they may be.
